I like the world better after I have read an Alexander McCall Smith novel. I smile more. I think happier thoughts about people. Corduroy Mansions, a serialized novel on the Telegraph, is back for its third season starting this week. (Reading the earlier novels is not a prerequisite for enjoying the third season.)
